Tweed & Hickory Online Coupon Code: Save $1 on every box of K Cups

Do you have a love affair going on with flavoured coffee like I do?  Are you constantly disappointed by the selection at your local grocery store?  Here’s a way to get a whole world of selection on K-Cups for your Keurig machine: Save $1 on every box of K-Cups at Tweed & Hickory!

Click here to shop K-Cups at Tweed & Hickory now

  • Coupon Code:  ONE
  • Discount:  $1 off every box of K-Cups
  • Expiry:  unknown

I’ve found what I consider to be the best deal on Keurig K-Cups out there.  Costco’s Kirkland Breakfast Blend is regularly $38.99 for 100 cups, coming in at just a little under $0.39 per cup.  What I can’t find is a good deal or a good selection of flavoured coffee K-Cups.  At my regular grocery store, there aren’t very many interesting flavours to choose from, and the flavoured cups sell for around $0.72 ($12.99 for an 18 pack). Tweed and Hickory saves the day here with an enormous selection of brands and flavours, many of which at a great price even before the coupon discount.  Here are some of the ones I’m most excited about:

Guy Fieri Flavortown Roasts Cups – Banana Foster (24 Pack) ($15.49, was $16.49).

That’s only $0.65 per cup.

Brooklyn Bean Roastery K-Cups – Cinnamon Subway (24 Pack) ($14.99, was $15.99).

That’s only $0.63 per cup.

Barnie’s Coffee Kitchen Single Cups – Southern Pecan (24 Pack) ($14.49, was $15.49).

That’s only $0.61 per cup.

Grove Square Portion Packs – Pumpkin Spice Cappuccino (Box of 24) ($12.99, was $13.99).

That’s only $0.54 per cup.

Cameron’s Chocolate Caramel Brownie Single Serve Coffees – Box of 12 ($6.99, was $7.99).

That’s only $0.58 per cup!

Some of the brands that caught my eye that I haven’t seen in stores are Emeril’s, Wolfgang Puck, Cake Boss, and Hurricane Coffee.

Tweed & Hickory now also accepts PayPal as a method of payment, making shopping for your morning Joe even that more convenient.

Shipping

For a limited time, Tweed & Hickory charges a flat rate of $9.99 for shipping within Canada.  At the moment orders over $150 are shipped FREE!

I don’t know how long this code is going on for, so check it out soon.  Be sure to always check the Bargainmoose coupon forum for more Tweed & Hickory codes!

Frank & Oak Promo Code: Take an Extra 15% Off 2+ Sale Items!

Straight from the fashion Mecca that is Montreal comes Frank & Oak, a fashion forward creator of designer men’s fashions that helps even the least savvy shoppers find the right clothes for them, all at reasonable prices.  I’ve found a great deal for you today with their Grand Slam Summer Sale and this code for an extra 15% off 2 (or more) sale items!

Click here to shop @ Frank & Oak now!

  •  Coupon Code:  GRANDSLAM15
  • Discount:  15% of 2 or more sale items
  • Expiry:  unknown

Frank & Oak is all about taking the guesswork out of men’s shopping.  When you sign up on their site (free and easy to do), they take you through a questionnaire about your (or you man’s) style and preferences to be able to recommend the best options to suit.  Their monthly collections feature stylish menswear that is simple, fresh and affordable.  Founded by a couple of Montreal natives, this premium line has something for pretty much every guy you know.

My boyfriend is the simplest dresser I know.  While he lives almost exclusively in t-shirts and cargo pants/shorts, I like to buy him quality items so even while he dresses very casually, he has a quality look.  Frank & Oak totally fits the bill here, and pairing this coupon code with the Grand Slam Summer Sale (which has items marked down up to 55% already) is making me very click happy.  There is a great selection in the sale section of tees, button-downs, crew sweaters, shorts, etc.

Frank & Oak offers an exclusive shopping option called The Hunt Club.  This is fully optional; you can still shop Frank & Oak if you don’t want to sign up.  If you do, however, you get to order a crate once a month when new lines are released and can try on your favourite items in the privacy of your own home, no trips to the mall required.  You then return what you don’t want and are charged only for what you keep.  Shipping both ways is completely free when you’re a Hunt Club member.  You also earn 8% store credit on all purchases, and there are other incentives and monthly bonuses along the way.

TheBodyShop.ca: 50% Off Summer Essentials & $5 Shower Gels

TheBodyShop.ca: 50% Off Summer Essentials & $5 Shower Gels

Is your skin feeling dry or tired from all the time out in the summer sun?  Or are you struggling to maintain your tan with this inconsistent weather?  Here’s a deal for you:  Today is the last day to take advantage of The Body Shop’s huge sale on all summer essentials!

There are over 40 products marked down to 50% off in this online exclusive sale.  I was really impressed to see that with the sale discount; most of the prices are under $10.  I know all the time in the sun and sand is pretty hard on my skin, so saving money on lots of lotions and cleansers is a big deal.

As I mentioned, there are over 40 products on sale, but I’ve rounded up a few of my favourites for you:

TheBodyShop.ca offers a helpful filter on the left hand side while you are shopping.  You can filter by price, category, size, etc, but what I really liked is that you can filter by concern, returning products that address your issues with either Care for Sensitive Skin, Dryness, Fine Lines, Hydration, or Lack of Radiance.  I really appreciate when a website helps me take the guesswork out of shopping for the right product for me. I’m super concerned with hydration at the moment so I like that I can shop through products that are going to nourish my dry skin.

Adding to this great sale, TheBodyShop.ca is also offering $5 Shower Gels for a limited time.  Unlike the sale mentioned above, this offer is available in store as well as online.  Pick up delicious shower gel scents like Vineyard Peach and Brazil Nut, all for between $4.50 – $5.00!  This offer is available through 27th July 2014.

Neither of these offers are able to be combined with any other offer or coupon, including the buy 2 get 1 free/buy 1 get 1 50% off offer.

TheBodyShop.ca offers free shipping on orders over $75.

Naturalizer.ca Summer Clearance Event: Harrison Sandals $29.99 (reg. $110)!

Posted by on July 23, 2014 at 8:00 AM

Naturalizer.ca Summer Clearance Event: Harrison Sandals $29.99 (reg. $110)!

It’s only July, meaning that here in the great white north we are still celebrating the joys of summer for another couple of months.  With all that time spent making your feet look summer-perfect, why not treat yourself to a great new pair of summer sandals with this deal from Naturalizer.ca:  Harrison sandals (regularly $110, now only $29.99) for 70% off!

I’m starting to get tired of my summer footwear already.  I’ve been wearing the same pair of ballet flats and flip flops most days and they’re starting to look a little sad.  I think it’s fair to say that my shoe collection could use a little update.  This sale from Naturalizer.ca, offering up to 70% off sale items, is a great way to update that summer footwear wardrobe for a great price.

The Harrison Sandals are a lovely turquoise colour with gold metal detailing, fitting perfectly with a bright, breezy summer wardrobe.  They offer an adjustable heel sling strap, smooth lining, cushioning insole, so slip outside and 1.9cm heel.  The gold chain detailing on the leather upper part of the shoe really adds a nice touch.  These shoes are pretty enough to feel great in and also comfortable enough to wear all day even if you’re on your feet.

Harrison sandals are also available in Ivory, Black, and Caravan Sand (a tan – beige colour) at the same great price.

There are a bunch of great deals I found on the Naturalizer.ca summer sale, some of which could even get you through the fall.  There is still a great selection available in many sizes.  If you are crazy about ballet flats like I am, be sure to check out the 70% off Bromstad Ursela flats (was $90, now only $27) which are gloriously pink and shiny.  Blaine (was $110, now only $49.99) is a stunning peep toe high heel pump that comes either in black leather or onyx leather with snake print detail.  Quite the shoe for a hot night on the town!

Shipping costs within Canada are $5 for the first item and $2 for each additional item in the order.

Naturalizer’s summer sale offers up to 70% off sale items now until September 1st, don’t miss out on this great opportunity to save!

Wordans Coupon Code: Get a 25% Discount on all Custom Clothing

Check out this great coupon code from Wordans:  25% off all custom clothing!

Click here to shop @ Wordans.ca now

  • Coupon Code:  HOLIDAYS2014
  • Discount:  25% off custom clothing
  • Expiry:  unknown

I can never seem to find the right graphic t-shirt at the time I’m looking for it, or in the right size for the right person.  Wordans takes the guesswork out of the equation with their custom apparel.  They make it really easy on the site to choose the type of clothing you’re looking for, ranging from tees and hoodies to hats, aprons and phone cases.  They have a whole album of images you can use to customize your item in categories like News & Politics, Urban, Celebrity, Controversial, etc.  I have been looking for the “right” minion tee for my son for a very long time, and haven’t been able to find the right one until customizing one at Wordans.ca.

You can also upload your own image allowing you real personalization.  I’m thinking of making my boyfriend a whole series of shirts with my face on them.  I’m kidding about that, but there are lots of photos sitting on my computer that would be totally fun on t-shirts.

Wordans carries quality clothing from brands such as American Apparel, New Balance, and Anvil Organic to name a few.  There is always a discount on bulk orders (10+ 10%off, 25+ 20% off, 100+ 30% off, 250+ 35% off and 500+ 40% off) however Wordans have another code out right now:  5050 gets you 50% off orders of 50 t-shirts or more.  Have a team?  Family reunion?  Just want everyone you know to have a shirt with your mug on it?  Problem solved.

Shipping varies based on your location and your order and is free on orders over $250.  As an example, Canada Post shipping to me for my one t-shirt was estimated at $6.82.

Be sure to check out the Bargainmoose coupon forum for more coupons from Wordans.

Amazon.ca: $76 Tassimo Coffee Maker T47 (was $150) + Free Shipping

Posted by on July 21, 2014 at 12:30 PM

Amazon.ca: $76 Tassimo Coffee Maker T47 (was $150) + Free Shipping

As I sipped my lovely home-brewed, single serve coffee this morning, I found this great deal on the Tassimo T47 Coffee Maker:  50% off at $75.43 at Amazon.ca (reg.  $149.99)!

I love my Tassimo.  I am fully incapable of brewing traditional coffee.  Honestly, I don’t know what my issue is, but when I try to brew coffee, I either end up with it way too strong, way too weak, or with coffee grounds in my cup and all over my counter.  I absolutely love the convenience of just popping the little T-Disc into the machine, placing my cup, and pushing the button.  Not to mention that most weekdays the adults in my house are each only drinking one cup before we head out for the day, so I feel like it’s more logical to use two pods, allowing us each to choose our own flavour and having a hot cup of coffee at different times versus brewing a pot that I’m probably going to mess up anyways.

I really appreciate that the Tassimo T47 offers automatic cleaning and descaling, and that it brews coffee in approximately one minute.  Mornings are when I’m at my least patient, especially when it comes to getting my caffeine fix, so speed is of the essence.  Tassimo does all the thinking for you in those groggy morning hours by reading the barcode on the T-Disc, brewing the perfect cup every time.  I especially love trying lots of different coffee flavours, which the Tassimo allows me to do easily.

Price Comparison

I checked out a whole bunch of competitors on this one.  Amazon’s offer is a real steal.  Check them out for yourself if you’d like.

Amazon.ca has sales on other Tassimo models if the T47 isn’t right for you.  You can check out the Tassimo T20 for $69.99 (reg. $169.99) or the Tassimo T55 for $109.99 (reg. $229.99).  I also really enjoy that you can purchase a Tassimo Espresso, Coffee, Cappuccino, and Tea Variety Pack ($43.99) with 48 T-Discs to let you sample a bunch of flavours without having to buy a whole package of any one flavour.

Shipping

Your order will ship free from Amazon.ca.

Walmart Canada: Hipstreet FLARE 2 9” Google Certified Dual Core Android 8GB Tablet Only $88.94!

Posted by on July 21, 2014 at 10:30 AM

Walmart Canada: Hipstreet FLARE 2 9” Google Certified Dual Core Android 8GB Tablet Only $88.94!

Hot deal alert!  I love me a good Walmart Canada Rollback, and I found a sweetheart of a deal in there today.  The Hipstreet FLARE 2 9” Google Certified Dual Core Android 8GB Tablet Only $88.94 (reg. $118)!

Click here to shop @ Walmart Canada now

I have been in the market for a tablet for a while now and I have yet to commit.  My soon-to-be-7-year-old has been quite literally begging for a tablet for about a year now and I’ve been putting it off for a few reasons:  I’m concerned about too much screen time, I don’t want to spend a lot but also don’t want to buy a piece of junk, and I worry about a tablet being destroyed by my younger son.  With all of that in mind I have been researching tablets quite a lot and really like the looks of the Hipstreet FLARE 2.  Here are the basic product specifications:

  • 9-inch LCD screen
  • Dual Core 1.5Hz A9 Processor
  • Android 4.1 (Jellybean) operating system
  • 8GB internal memory
  • Supports microSD cards up to a capacity of 32GB

This device is Google certified, which means that you have access to the Google Play store for apps, Google Maps, and other Google apps exclusive to certified devices.  This tablet also comes loaded with Hipstreet apps and services.  The High Speed Micro USB 2.0 port allows you to connect the Hipstreet FLARE 2 to a keyboard, mouse, external storage device, etc and the Dual Graphics Processor with HDMI Out port allows you to connect to any HDTV or flat screen monitor.  Talk about versatility!

Based on the specifications and the price, I feel like the Hipstreet FLARE 2 is a great starter tablet for kids.  We’re not talking about mass amounts of storage for vital information here, she just wants to play some games, take photos and communicate with her friends.  It also has front and rear-facing cameras for all the selfies I’m sure to see in her future.

Price comparison

I did some price comparison shopping and was pleased to find that this deal is really great compared to TheSource.ca who are selling this tablet for $159.99 and BestBuy.com at $139.99.  Walmart Canada has the Hipstreet FLARE 2 rolled back from $118 to $88.94.

Shipping

As if this deal wasn’t sweet enough, Walmart Canada still offers free shipping on all orders with no minimum!

Shutterfly Promo Code: Get 1 Free 16″ x 20″ Print – A Savings Of $17.99!

Posted by on July 17, 2014 at 7:30 PM

Shutterfly Promo Code: Get 1 Free 16 x 20 Print A Savings Of $17.99!

Have you been spending a lot of time behind your camera lens this summer?  Or have you paid for beautiful photos that you are able to print yourself?  Now is the time to create a statement piece for your home with this great deal from Shutterfly: 1 free 16” x 20” print.  That’s a savings of $17.99! You’ll just have to pay for shipping.

Click here to shop @ Shutterfly.com now

  • Coupon Code:  PRINT4U
  • Discount:  1 free 16” x 20” print
  • Expiry:  23th July 2014

I’ve recently moved from a two bedroom apartment to a 4+ bedroom house and let me tell you, decorating is going to take forever!  I’ve already mounted all the art and photos that I have and the grand majority of my walls are bare.  I’m totally taking advantage of this freebie from Shutterfly to get a large photo print to hang on the wall in my home!

Shipping on this is $5.99.  It’s important to note that since Shutterfly is shipping from the United States, you are responsible for any taxes, duties, or customs fees that may be required at the time of delivery.  Shipping to Canada also varies based on what you order, but again, a total cost of $5.99 for a large print?  Sounds like a good deal to me.

While you’re checking out the free 16” x 20” print, deal, make sure to look for the other codes Shutterfly has out right now:

I live out in the middle of nowhere and have really questionable internet service.  I have a VERY hard time uploading my photos to sites to print.  I actually haven’t successfully uploaded a single photo to Costco’s site in the 3 months I’ve lived here.  Shutterfly’s upload was quick and easy, even for me.  I like that.

If you haven’t used Shutterfly before, there is a bonus offer available as well.  All new registrants get 50 4×6 prints free.  Now is a great time to add to your photo albums or scrapbooks.  Heck, with free prints I might just let my kids near them with some scissors and a glue stick!

Check out the Bargainmoose forum for more Shutterfly.com coupons.

Tommy Hilfiger Celebrate Summer Sale: Extra 40% Off All Sale Items

If you are interested in designer duds, and you want to celebrate the hot deals of summer, you will love this great sale from Tommy Hilfiger: Take an extra 40% off all sale and clearance items!

Click here to shop @ Tommy.com now

  • Coupon Code: THJUL40
  • Discount: 40% off sale items
  • Expiry: 21st July 2014

Summer is pretty much my favourite season to shop.  I find that the sunshine, all the social activities and just the smell in the air give me the boost I need to enter the often dreaded world of shopping for myself.  I haven’t always been a dress person, but in the last few years I have found myself wearing a lot more dresses and skirts in the warm weather.  The Stripe Dress ($33.00, reg. $79.50) is a lovely retro style dress with a very current nautical theme.

Is it too soon to be thinking about back to school shopping?  Those first few months of school are still usually pretty warm, so I think summer sales are a great way to get the school year started on a budget.  I really like sending my kids to school in classic, quality garments that hold up to lots and lots of washing.  This Woven Dress ($17.99, reg. $42.50) would have my daughter feeling all kinds of girly on her first day back to school.  My son, on the other hand, would probably be a little happier in a Classic Tee ($5.99, reg. $15.00) and at that price, I can afford to stock up for this season and next.

This sale also applies to all of Tommy Hilfiger’s sale and clearance home items.  I recently moved and acquired an extra bed so I’m in the market for bedding.  This queen size Mission Paisley Duvet Set ($117.59, reg. $200.00) looks luxurious enough to be in a boutique hotel room.  I think that might just be good enough for my guest bedroom.  There are also some pretty sweet deals on bags and luggage.  If you have any travel plans coming up, I would definitely recommend checking those out.

Now for the not so great news.  As with most items shipped from the United States, we Canadians run the risk of paying duties and taxes when our purchases hit the border.  Tommy Hilfiger is currently offering flat rate ground shipping to Canada at $7.95, which isn’t too bad in my books. Stop by the forum for more Tommy Hilfiger coupon codes.

Lacoste Canada Promo Code: 10% Off Site Wide PLUS free shipping on orders over $150!

I absolutely love the simple elegance of the Lacoste brand.  That little crocodile (or is it an alligator? I never know the difference) gets me every time.  Here’s a great reason to treat yourself or buy a lovely gift: 10% off on sale items at Lacoste.ca!

Click here to shop @ Lacoste.ca now

  • Coupon Code: add10
  • Discount: 10% off
  • Expiry:  20th July 2014

Now I’m a budget conscious mom who likes to shop on the frugal side.  Having said that, I do like to splurge from time to time on really high quality items, especially classic styles that won’t go out of style before my kids out grow them or before I get tired of them.  Lacoste is the perfect fit:  a luxury brand of quality, classic, timeless styles that will see you through as long as you want them to.  There is a huge 40% off sale going on right now and you can stack this 10% code right on top!

A friend of mine recently had a baby, and I’ve been trying to come up with gift ideas for her little girl.  I always try to really personalize a baby gift and choose items that I either used a ton of, or really valued when my kids were babies.  I remember one gift I received for my daughter was a really beautiful, high end outfit that I put her in all the time.  Lacoste offers this Layette Romper and Plush Croc Gift Set ($94.50 after coupon, reg. $125), which comes in a little pink suitcase and includes a polka dot baby polo, culotte bloomers, and a cuddly crocodile.  I would have been absolutely thrilled to receive this and I think I will get about as much joy from being the giver.

Here’s a very juicy deal.  Lacoste’s L.12.12 Concept Bag With Shoulder Strap ($49.50, reg. $110.00) is a nice sized bag (35 x 27 x 14 cm) to carry all your daily essentials.  It has one zippered pocked on the inside and the ever lovely crocodile on the outside.  I particularly enjoy this bag in cyan blue.  It is made of leather except for the trim, so I would expect this bag to last a while.

The grand majority of items at Lacoste.ca are on sale right now.  Getting an extra 10% off makes all the deals even sweeter.  Don’t forget that if you spend at least $150, you also get free shipping!

Make sure to check back to the Bargainmoose forum for more Lacoste coupons.

Amazon.ca: $145 Seagate Expansion 4TB Desktop External Hard Drive + Free Shipping

Posted by on July 17, 2014 at 11:30 AM

Amazon.ca: $145 Seagate Expansion 4TB Desktop External Hard Drive + Free Shipping

I am always filling up my hard drive with photos and downloads.  Not any more with this deal from Amazon.ca:  Seagate Expansion 4TB Desktop External Hard Drive USB 3.0 on sale for only $145.98 (Reg. $397.99)!

Let’s talk about user friendliness.  This external hard drive is automatically recognized by Windows, so there is no software installation required.   It is as easy as opening the box, plugging in two cords, and you’re running.  I am fully computer literate, but I do sometimes have a hard time installing hardware.  The ease of installing this device really appeals to me.  It’s really just plug and play.

As Amazon.ca’s #1 best seller in external hard drives, Seagate’s model offers a 4TB capacity.  Again, hardware isn’t my thing, so I didn’t really have a great concept of what that meant in layman’s terms.  Here is an example of the type of storage capacity we’re talking about:

  • Up to 3000 hours of digital video
  • Up to 750 2 hour DVD movies
  • Up to 960 000 digital photos
  • Up to 49 980 hours of digital music

I think it’s possible that even I would have a hard time filling up that bad boy.  Compatible operating systems are Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP SP3 (32-bit and 64-bit).

Now I live out in the middle of nowhere.  I had no choice but to get wireless internet, and the reception within my house is spotty at best.  I’m often isolated in the office with my laptop, but often my family wants to watch a downloaded movie in the living room or bedroom, which involves a lot of work getting said movie from my computer to another device.  With an external hard drive, I would literally be able to unplug the 2 cords from one computer and pop them into another for a smooth transfer.  Easy peasy.  The unit is also compact in size, making for easy storage.

As far as comparison is concerned, I found the same external hard drive over tigerdirect.ca for $164.97.  Both Best Buy and Future Shop are selling the unit for $169.99.  On top of the low price, since this item is over $25, you automatically qualify for free super saver shipping at Amazon.ca.

We don’t know when this deal ends, so act fast!

I’ve spent a lot of time this summer at home.  I really enjoy the luxury of staying in my comfy clothes all day, changing into new comfies at bed time.  That’s why I’m so excited to use today’s Old Navy coupon code online to buy some summer lounge wear.  Check out this cute little outfit I created, either for sleep or hanging out at home:  Women’s Graphic Slub-Knit Tank ($9.06, reg. $12.94) in Gray Heather has an awesome statement across the chest that might be my new personal motto:  Sleep Is My Cardio.  Love it!  I will pair this with the Navy Pink Plaid Women’s Printed Lounge Shorts ($7.66, reg. $10.94) for a cute little summer combo.  This outfit will cost me a total of $16.72… not too shabby!

As I’ve mentioned, I’m a fuller figured lady, and I really appreciate that Old Navy carries many of their items up to size XXL.  They do have a plus size section online only that is also pretty helpful, and if you’re lucky when you’re checking out Old Navy in store, you may find some plus size returns on the clearance rack for next to nothing!  I got a gorgeous maxi dress that way earlier this season for under $10!. Cosmo Music – The Musical Instrument Superstore, has been around since 1966.  Starting out as a small business importing guitars from Italy and Japan, Cosmo Music has grown into the world’s most exciting and interactive music making environment.  If you are in, or find yourself in the Richmond Hill, Ontario area, this looks like a really neat place to visit.  They even have a music hall for live performances!  For the rest of us, there is a great virtual tour available to let you see what the retail location is all about.

As far as musical instruments go, Cosmo Music sells pretty much anything you can think of.  Their sale section is really fun, offering up to 90% off!  Check the details of each sale item as they might be demos, open box or scratch & dent.  These are really great ways to save some money for the musician in your life.

I nearly lost my mind when I found Cosmo Music’s selection of guitars.  We are a musical family and I have been thinking about getting my kids their own guitars for some time.  The ½ size guitars are a great way to start.  The Beaver Creek BCTD401 ½ Size Acoustic Guitar in Pink ($114.99, reg. $155) would be perfect for my musical little lady.

My little guy turns everything into a drum.  I have long been considering a drum kit for him, and now that we live in the country with no neighbours, I think I have found the perfect kit: Peavey Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Jr. Drum Kit w/Thron ($149.99, reg. $199.99).

Should you be in the Richmond Hill, Ontario area, Cosmo School of Music offers a whole catalogue of private and group lessons, music therapy, camps and workshops for musicians of every level.  As a bonus, all students receive a 5% discount off all regular-priced merchandise and rentals.  Sweet deal!

Always remember to check out the Bargainmoose forum for more Cosmo Music coupons. Heavy items and remote addresses are not included in this promotion.

Lonely Planet Promo Code: 50% Off Everything

Do you have travel plans in the near future, or are you constantly planning that dream vacation in your head?  I’ve found a juicy promo code to help you with your plans, real or imaginary, with 50% off everything at Lonely Planet.  They are calling this code a secret, but we’re letting the cat out of the bag.

  • Coupon Code: LPSECRET
  • Discount: 50% off
  • Expiry: 18th July 2014

I am currently planning a few trips, both real and imaginary.  We are going to go back to New York City in the fall.  The last time we visited (the first trip there for both of us), we had a whirlwind 36 or so hours in the city.  We saw some of the bigger sites like the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Centre, and Times Square.  We did find ourselves a little overwhelmed and slightly lost from time to time.  I found this great deal on the City Box Set Limited Edition (USD$30.00 with coupon offer, reg. $59.99) which includes city guides for Paris, London and New York City.  Paris and London are high on my travel wish list, so this deal will help me out in the present and future.

Another cool resource I found is the Cycling in France Guide.  You can choose from the book (USD$12.50, reg. $24.99), eBook (USD$8.74, reg. $24.99) or you can purchase PDF copies of individual chapters (USD$2.48, reg. $4.95).  A little secret of my own is that I’m hoping my boyfriend will pop the question one of these days, and I’m hoping for a glorious honeymoon in Europe, with a strong focus in France.  I am a lover of all things wine, and my boyfriend is an avid cyclist.  I figure we can both be really, really happy with a honeymoon spent cycling the French countryside with some stops at Chateaux to sample wine along the way.

We recently blogged about another sale at Lonely Planet, you can check that out here to see what Eva had to say about Lonely Planet’s print and digital guidebooks.

Lonely Planet offers free shipping on orders over US$40.  I found that my order was still free as long as the original price was over $40, even if the coupon brought it under that.
