Play Cards Against Humanity For FREE Online @ Cards Against Originality
Get ready to have some outrageous fun because you can now play Cards Against Humanity for free online!
So why is the online version of this popular and highly addicting game under a different name, that of Cards Against Originality? It's because it wasn't actually made by the founders of Cards Against Humanity.
However, because Cards Against Humanity is under a Creative Commons license, it gives anyone the right to take this game and do whatever they want with it, including putting it online.
If you have never played this game, then it's definitely worth trying both with a bunch of friends and online, but I do suggest loading up on booze first. Some of the sentence combinations aren't exactly PG-friendly, nor are they even friendly for the average audience! Here's what our very own Anna had to say about Cards Against Humanity:
I LOVE Cards Against Humanity! It’s an excellent game to pull out at a party… but not if anyone is in any way prudish. It can get quite rude, so it’s not for the faint of heart. I’ve played it quite a few times with different people now. Even though the same cards sometimes crop up, you can use them in different combinations as you are being asked different questions each time. One of my best combos was this:
Question: What keeps Barack Obama awake at night? Answer: Michelle Obama’s arms.
As for how to play this outrageous game, it's really quite simple. After a black card is drawn, each player must complete the sentence on the card with their funniest white card.
If you want to get the physical and actual version of this controversial game, then you can pick it up for $30 at Amazon and there are a total of five expansions. Having played the original version of this game without adding any expansion, I can tell you that you can play it several times without getting bored of seeing the same cards but that if you plan on playing a lot, then it's definitely worth getting the expansion packs as you're more likely to forget most cards.
What's also cool is that if you check out the official Cards Against Humanity site, then you can also download a PDF version of the entire deck. Then, you just need to print, cut out the cards and invite a couple of friends over to play while sipping Margaritas.
