Looking to make some noise at home? Love to learn to play the keyboard? Well, you can easily do that with the Casio LK-240 61-key portable touch sensitive personal keyboard with AHL technology, regularly $241.99 at Amazon and now on sale for $134.99.

This deal is perfectly timed for me as I've been considering putting my boys in music lessons. One of my sons is a very active boy, but when he listens to music it really calms him. He actually has an older keyboard in his room and even though he has no clue what he is doing, he plays it often. I'm considering getting him a new keyboard and a stand and then starting him with lessons. For this price, I've already started saving, which is good because the lessons are not cheap (but well worth it!).

But, if you want to self-teach, this model of keyboard is for you as it has lesson functions. It looks like the keys light up to help you know where to play. All of the reviews suggest that this is a great keyboard for a beginning keyboard player.

Price comparing, I could only find this model at Toys R Us, where it sells for $199.99. I thought I had found it at Best Buy and Future Shop, but it was a different model, although very similar, that also sold for $200. If you want to pay less than $150, this model from Amazon is probably the one to get.

While there are no reviews on Amazon.ca, Amazon.com has seven reviews that give it a total of almost five stars. I really loved this review:

Purchased and gave as a gift to the alzheimer's unit where my Mom is living. This is just right. Compact so it doesn't take up too much space. The lights and programmed songs stimulates the residents. Price was right, size was right and is giving Mom joy.

Because this keyboard is over $25, it will also ship for free.
