Whether your Air Canada baggage is free will depend on your fare class, destination, and loyalty status. When you fly Basic and Standard fares, checked bags carry charges ranging from $30 to $60. 

However, when you upgrade to a Comfort or Flex fare, your first checked bag flies for free, and with a Latitude fare, your first two bags fly for free. For international destinations, the fees range from $75 to $100.

Additionally, no fees apply to carry-on luggage as long as it meets the guidelines.
