Quick & Easy Back to School Hairstyles

Quick & Easy Back to School Hairstyles

It's hard enough getting everyone up on time to return to school after summer vacation without worrying about what to do with your girl's hair. I wanted to share some quick and easy styles that you can do in no time, ensuring no one is late and you're not pulling your hair out!

Triple Pony: part the hair evenly and tie the front of the hair into two small pigtails. Tie back into a ponytail. Pick up small sections of hair and secure with elastics, working down the length of the hair.

Fishtail Braid
: these look intricate but are actually really easy to do and take no time at all once you've got the hang of it. Gather all the hair and separate into two sections. Using your pointer finger and thumb, grab a small section of hair from the outside of the left section and cross it over into the middle. Repeat on the right side and down the length of the hair.

Hair Bow
: Gather all hair into a high pony but, when wrapping the hair through the elastic for the last time, don't pull it all the way through. You'll have a loop of hair with the ends sticking out. Split the loop in half and pin each down using a bobby pin. Then, pull the ends that were left out smoothly over the middle and secure with a bobby pin. Voila!

Top Knot
: top knots are the best go-to because the messier they are, the better they look! For a prettier twist, wrap a braid around the knotted bun by creating high pony but leave a piece of hair out and put the rest of the hair in a messy bun. Then, braid the piece of hair you left out and twist around the base of the bun and secure with a bobby pin.

Cinderella Bun
: have her looking like a princess by brushing hair into a high pony. Put a sock bun or big scrunchie around the base of the ponytail then wrap the hair around the sock bun/scrunchie and pin in place with bobby pins. Finish it off with a cute headband.

Flip Tail
: gather the hair into a low ponytail at the nape of the neck and secure it with an elastic. Push the band down slightly to leave two or three inches of hair above it. Using your pointer and middle fingers, make a "hole" in the middle of the hair above the ponytail holder. With your other hand, flip the end of the ponytail under and up through the hole. Slowly pull the ponytail through.
