Is it time to refresh your living space with some new furniture? I would love a new couch, but I still have a 2-year-old and a puppy who have the potential for disaster. What's awesome about Ikea's fabric sofas is that they have removable, machine washable covers! Maybe I do need some new furniture! After dry cleaning every single cushion after a recent flu incident, being able to wash the cover in the washing machine is a very tempting and amazing idea. You can even buy replaceable covers so you can change up the colour and look of your living space at a whim!
I love this Ektorp corner sofa. I currently have a style like this and I find it keeps the family closer, since we all like cuddling anyway! You can get a variety of colours and I love the Idemo Red, ($999) but for something more tame, check out the Blekinge white ($949). Add the loveseat in any colour, starting from regularly $479 for white and get it for only $239.50.
Shipping is steep at about $199 with a delivery truck, so sometimes you may be better to buy in-store. But, if you don't live near an Ikea or you don't have a vehicle to transport furniture, this may be a viable option.
