Super NES Classic Released This Fall @ Nintendo

Super NES Classic Released This Fall @ Nintendo

O.M.G. I couldn't wait to tell you this news! It appears that this fall, Nintendo is going to be re-releasing a miniature version of the 1990's Nintendo system - the Super NES Classic - and it is going to be pre-packed with all kinds of retro games like Super Mario World and Zelda!

This system will be available as of September 29th, 2017 and will be priced around $79.99 USD (about $105 CAD).

There are two wired controllers included so you can play your favourite retros in multiplayer mode right away.

There are 21 Classic Super NES Games which will include:

  • Super Mario World
  • Super Mario Kart
  • The Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past
  • F-Zero
  • Super Metroid
  • StarFox 2 (never before released)
  • Street Fighter II
  • Punch Out
  • Castlevania IV
  • Donkey Kong Country
  • Mega Man X
  • Kirby Super Star
  • Final Fantasy III
  • Kirby's Dream Course
  • Starfox
  • Yoshi's Islan
  • Super Mario Legend of the Seven Stars
  • Contra III
  • Secret of Mana
  • EarthBound
  • Super Ghouls N Ghosts

Hopefully this system will have more sold than the last mini that was launched. I really wanted to get my hands on one but didn't get the chance because they only sold one wave of the suckers.

How excited are you!?

And in True Nintendo fashion, they will probably produce 1 unit for every 100 person's who are looking to purchase one, as we saw with the release of the NES Classic last November.

I lucked out in getting one of the mini Nintendo systems last year but could not believe that they discontinued them as quickly as they did.
