It’s “FORCE FRIDAY” today and stores all over the world are running special promotions to celebrate the midnight release of the new Star Wars movie. Amazon has released a few coupon codes, which is quite a rarity for them. If you’re buying Star Wars merchandise directly from Amazon.ca themselves (not third party sellers), you can save either $10 off $50 or $25 off $100. What is even more interesting is that you can also stack this with the free $10 credit promo for spending over $40 and using a debit card on your order! And even better, you’re spending over the minimum threshold so your order will have free shipping too. :)

Just tried using the code on a Star Wars Lego advent calendar and a hot wheels car and it says it's not valid. My guess is Lego is exempt because it ALWAYS is these days, is there fine print anywhere to check? Also, I'm not a huge Star Wars fan but do live with one and the new movie isn't out until December.

Well Faye, the landing page above shows you all the items upon which the codes are eligible. I tried it on LEGO items and it was fine. Were they all on the above link? And was your total over $50?

Yes all on the link above and yes over $50 :(. Tried a few different combos, some with Lego and it didn't apply, others without Lego and it DID apply. Lucky it worked for you!

Sorry to be back again, but went to the full Amazon.ca site and clicked on their box that said save $10 off $50 and the list it took me to only had Lego Star Wars lights. No actual Lego sets. It could be they caught it this morning and changed it. Lego has really set out rules about discounts in the last year. Indigo has a teacher discount day every September and last year they changed the rule from excluding just Lego Friends to excluding ALL Lego once the promo started, and now sadly it's standard that they exclude all Lego. I haven't tried to debit promo code, would be nice if it applies! Thanks for the post, think I'll be ordering non-Lego Star Wars stuff for Christmas now!

No apologies! I've just tried it on 2 of this item - LEGO Star Wars First Order Snowspeeder 75100 Building Kit - and it says the code wasn't applicable. This is really poor to be honest, because that set is highlighted at the very top of the page on the Star Wars promo!!

The fine print really should be bolder with no Lego since that is one of the most anticipated features of #forcefriday. Ah well. Thanks again for highlighting the deal!
