You will receive 30-pieces [15 lids, 15 bottoms] in your set. According to Amazon Canada - where the set retails for $34.99 - the set includes:
- (2) 0.5-cup containers with lids
- (5) 1.25-cup containers with lids
- (4) 2-cup containers with lids
- (1) 3-cup container with lid
- (2) 5-cup containers with lids
- (1) 7-cup container with lid
The lids snap to the base bottom of the containers and on to each other. The bases and the lids nest inside each other for compact storage. One lid will fit multiple bases in case you accidentally melt one. These lids and their bases are microwave, freezer, and dishwasher-safe. Do not attempt to use in the oven or you will be sorry.
These are pretty cool containers at a fantastic price. I have seen the 24-piece set on sale for $12 before (currently $21.97). This set has an extra 6 containers and costs $4 less. Given that Amazon Canada's price is $35.99 for this set (as mentioned above) I think this is a super hot deal.
Most reviewers love this set but one did comment on the size of the containers:
This is a very good product. But on average, the containers are smaller than I thought. I should have been more thorough reading the sizes and quantities of each container. Most of them are very small, with only 4 or 5 of them being what I would call average size or bigger. Nevertheless, I found use for all of them and despite of the sizes, it's a good value for the price.
This is why I have included all of the sizes and quantities above. This information is not on Walmart's website, so I had to look it up elsewhere. Given that this set is only $8 with free shipping to your local Canada Post location, I bet this will sell out quickly. These sets also make great Christmas gifts.
