PizzaPizza: Free Slice of Pizza When you Trade in an old Ink Cartridge or Small Electronic

Trade in junk for Pizza Pizza pizza. Free Pizza Pizza pizza!

Apparently every April since 2004 Pizza Pizza has given away free pizza in exchange for used electronics and ink cartridges. It's a pretty good deal especially when you consider the stuff they take. They're taking cameras, adapters, tablets, iPods, ink cartridges, mobile and smart phones. I don't know about you buy I have tons of old adapters and phones laying around that are going to sit here until I die and my kids throw it out when they're cleaning up the house to sell. I'm sure there are people out there who are throwing away or recycling a bunch of ink cartridges every year, too. Keep those somewhere and then fill up on free pizza when April rolls around.

On top of the free pizza, Pizza Pizza is donating and proceeds they get from refurbishing the electronics to Children's Miracle Network. Now, one stat that kind of boggled my mind is that they have only given away 8000 slices since 2005. That's just 800 every year. I want to blow this thing up so my call to you, dear Bargainmoosers, is to share this story with all your friends and start digging through piles of crap. Look for old charge cables, the power cord for the game console your kid broke, the six year old phone, the small pyramid of ink cartridges you've erected on your desk, anything that even remotely fits this list and bring it in.

To summarize: get rid of your useless crap, get free cheese or pepperoni pizza, give to charity.

Totally wish we had one of these in Nanaimo. My ink cartridge is complaining of low ink and I have quite a few useless electronics laying around. FABULOUS DEAL!
