$30 is actually an amazing price for this set. Amazon has this same knife set at 60% off and it is still $40. Clearly the best price around is at Costco. Not only is the price great, but my mom owns these knives and they work so well. I also really like the sheaths on them, especially on the smaller knives. That way you can bring the smaller fruit knife in your lunch bag without getting it dirty.
I know I shouldn't be, but I'm such a brand snob, especially when it comes to kitchen accessories. I want my pans, pots and knives to last so I always make sure to buy from trusted brands. One of my go-to brands is obviously Paderno. These knives are just as great as the rest of their products.
