North By Northwest Canada is offering free underwear with your purchase of $150 or more on Icebreaker items. The approximate value of the underwear is $45.95 and you need to enter the colour and size along with style number of your choice in the comments section at checkout. There is only one pair per customer permitted, and offer is for a limited time while quantities last.
The IceBreaker line is clothing made of pure merino wool as a natural alternative to synthetic fleece. Apparently, you will not go back to synthetics once you have experienced the softness and warmth of pure merino.
This men’s Sierra Half Zip 260was $179.99 and is on sale currently for $129.99. The sweater is a zip neck collar with interior zipper guard. There is even a zippered stash sleeve pocket on articulated raglan sleeves. This is only available in the colour sepia and sizes medium to extra large.
For the women, I found this Women’s Quantum II Hood 260 that was $199.99 and is now $129.99. This sweater has two-way reflective center front zipper, thumb loops, raglan sleeves and eyelet panels for increased venting. It also features a shaped hood with zipped front stash pockets. The colours available are black, cerise and panther and sizes medium and large.
After reading a little about this merino wool and these clothing items, I think any of these would be awesome for anyone that is an outdoor person in winter. I suppose some of these would be for more professional sports, such as mountain climbing and hiking, but also good for snowmobiling and ice skating.
