Lowes Canada is offering $200 of select fireplaces right now. I was checking out the sale and shocked to see how good a deal this one fireplace was. Originally $298, this Dimplex Traditional All-In-One Black Electric Fireplace is now only $98!
This is a fireplace insert so you need to have a fireplace shell or build something around it if you are rather handy. No venting, piping, or gas is required for the unit.

I love fireplaces and if I couldn't have a real one I would totally want an electric fireplace. They really set the mood and are so romantic just to sit around and drink hot chocolate.
The only downside of this deal is that it does not ship for free. You can pick it up at your local store, or you will need to have it shipped to you which can be quite expensive depending upon where you live.
