Here on the L.L. This is an amazing deal for a US company to offer to Canadian consumers; it’s an absolutely excellent offer.

Mooser Reviews

When we have posted about L.L Bean in the past here on Bargainmoose, we’ve had positive comments from our Moosers.

Mooser Sue says:

Been buying from them for years, both online and in the store. Very good about returning or replacing any defective product that bears their name. The only thing I find is that the women’s clothing tends to fit shorter folks better than those of us above 5’ 7”, especially in sleeve length.

And Mooser Jenn says:

I try to keep my orders under $20, I have never been hit with duty and tax when I do this. We like their lunch bags.

After reading Jenn’s comment, I decided to take a look and see what she meant. L.L. Bean’s lunch bags here are really cute and quite reasonably priced too. Here are a few examples with the extra discount:

Customs & Duties

L.L. Bean ship their orders to Canada from the US. All potential duties and customs will be shown to you in the amount you pay at checkout, so you don’t have to worry about any surprise fees at your door. If there are multiple items you are interested in buying, then I would recommend ordering each one in a separate order as you get free shipping anyway. As we all know, Canadian orders of $20 or less won’t incur customs or duties anyway. For example, ordering one of the above lunch boxes has no extra duties or taxes on it, but ordering 10 did have extra costs. :)
