From 9+ months, you use the handle to push and steer them during your adventures. At 12+ months, they can start to learn to ride by using the pedals while you're still guiding them. There's a removable canopy that blocks 99% of harmful UV rays (this comes in super handy during longer walks). The push handle is adjustable for your comfort and the footrests fold away and detach.
