LEGO Minifigures The Disney Collection (Series 1) Now Available!

Good news for Lego Minifigure collectors and for Disney collectors and for both! The Lego Minifigure Disney Collection (Series 1) is available in stores now. You can purchase them from many retailers, in store and online, but so far the cheapest I've seen them online is from Chapters.Indigo.ca, where they are selling for $3.95 for one blind bag, containing one collectable figure. There are 18 minifigures to collect in all.

Are your kids as obsessed with blind bags as mine? There is actually nothing that they love to receive more than a toy that comes in a blind bag. Favourites include Shopkins, My Little Pony and of course, Lego Minifigures. They have been asking about the Disney Collection since one of them caught wind of their existence on Youtube recently.

A few of 18 Disney characters featured in Series 1 are: Mickey and Minnie, Ariel, Buzz Lightyear, Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Alice in Wonderland and Donald Duck. They are all adorable!

These little guys are not exactly inexpensive, $4 is a lot to pay for a small toy in my opinion, but they are so collectable that I'd be willing to shell out for one or two just for the excitement they would bring my girls. Okay fine and me too.

I think these will also sell out quickly at most stores, since they are such collectors items.

Shipping fees will be an issue for such a small item regardless of where you buy them, so if you can't get into a store to purchase you may consider grouping them with a few other items to make use of free shipping minimums.

At Chapter.Indigo.ca you should note that they have a MINIMUM purchase requirement of three bags and a MAXIMUM limit of 20. You'll need to spend $25 to have them shipped to you for free. Or, you can have them shipped for pick up at your local store at no cost.
