Black Friday may still be a month away, but one of the sales we Canadians wait for all year is happening NOW. Bay Days are officially back at Hudson's Bay, and I don't know about the rest of you, but I think it's safe to say that my credit card is getting a workout! This is easily the BIGGEST sale we see at The Bay, and it only comes around twice a year – so you should probably get shopping while you can!
During Bay Days, almost everything sitewide and in stores is up to 50% off. That includes clothes, shoes and accessories for men, women and kids, as well as homewares, luggage, beauty products and more.
What are Bay Days?
If you've never shopped (or heard of) Bay Days before, here's what you need to know. This is Hudson's Bay's major biannual sale. It usually runs for a couple of weeks in the spring and then again every fall – and this is when you'll see some of the lowest prices of the year. I'm talking about half-price boots, cookware sets and more. Basically, this is your chance to do all your Christmas shopping before Black Friday even arrives.
Free Shipping Friday
In addition to all the deals you'll see on their homepage and throughout The Bay's website, they throw in a few extra perks for us online shoppers, including Free Shipping Fridays. Every Friday during Bay Days, you'll score FREE home delivery on almost anything you buy, with no minimum spend required. And if you're shopping bigger-ticket items like mattresses, furniture and major appliances, they'll waive the delivery free.
The Biggest Shoe Sale of the Season
If there's one thing I buy every single Bay Days without fail, it's new shoes. You seriously can't beat these prices, and this year, Hudson's Bay is calling this their "biggest shoe sale of the season." During Bay Days this year, select women's and men's shoes are once again up to 50% off, and that includes everything from winter boots to stiletto heels. Even these Clarks Adriel Mae Heeled Booties are marked down to $96 from $160!
25% off Columbia Jackets
While this deal might not be quite as flashy as, say, the dinnerware that's 50% off, trust me when I say you don't want to skip this one. During Bay Days, select Columbia outerwear for women and men is 25% off – including jackets! So if you need a puffer or any layering pieces before the cold weather arrives, this is your chance to score a deal that you probably wouldn't see elsewhere until later in the season.
2,000 Hudson's Bay Rewards Points
This is for those of you who collect Hudson's Bay Rewards Points. If you have the time and can get to a store pretty easily, skip the delivery fees and collect your items in-person! For a limited time, you'll receive 2,000 Hudson's Bay Rewards Points (worth a $10 Hudson's Bay gift card), just for spending $75 online and picking up your order in-store. A few conditions apply, but this is definitely worth checking out for that free $10!
When does Bay Days end?
The Bay rarely releases exact end dates for Bay Days, so we don't actually know how long this year's deals will last. However, since they typically run for anywhere from two to four weeks, it's safe to say that you still have plenty of time to get your shopping in.
