Are you looking to score an inexpensive hat for your little monster? Then grab this Hudson's Bay Company Xavi Baby Bucket Hat on sale from $10 down to $3.50 with free shipping.

This hat is not only sold by Hudson's Bay, it is part of the Hudson's Bay collection. Therefore, it features the traditional HBC stripes of blue green, red, and yellow on a white background. The brim is about 2" wide and the entire hat is made of cotton. There is also a chin strap with snap enclosure to keep this head on your baby's head instead off tossed to the side.

You can machine wash this hat but I recommend cold water and I suggest laying it flat to dry. Cotton can shrink, so you want to use cold water instead of hot. The hat comes in two sizes:

  • 0 - 6 months
  • 6 - 12 months

One reviewer said:

Great little hat, love the snap chin strap, if hat does fall off it doesn't blow away. Good size brim shades babies face well.

Another reviewer noted that the colours are a bit more muted than they look in the picture. I actually prefer the colours more muted as I do find the HBC multi-stripe pattern a little bright for my liking. This is a basic bucket hat for your little one and promises only to be a good little bucket hat.

Overall, I consider this hat a cheap buy and a great bargain if you are looking for baby accessories. I also found a bunch of other HBC Collection items on sale. This Maple Leaf Dog Collar caught my eye as it is 50% off. Originally $25, pay just $12.50. There are a bunch of men and women's shirts on sale as well. This Women s Brushstroke T-Shirt and this Men's Collegiate T-Shirtwere originally $30 and are now $15 each.

The best deal is still the baby bucket hat and I am pleased they still have two sizes in stock. While not a great Christmas gift, these would work really well as baby shower gifts if you know someone expecting. Which size you purchase depends on the due-date of the intended offspring.
