My husband has the 'old' Dell Venue 8" tablet that he is very happy with so far. It was an excellent tablet for the price. One of the major selling features for us was the expandable memory. Like the previous model, this New Dell Venue 8 comes with 16GB of memory that is expandable with a MicroSD card. You can add up to 64GB of extra memory for a fraction of the price of buying a device with larger memory.

My husband accidentally ordered the Duo case for his older model Venue, which is not compatible with the new case. The case is fairly sturdy and wraps around the back of your tablet for protection. However, there is no protection for the screen. I suggest you also buy a screen protector to go with your tablet. We were quite pleased with the Dell return process. They emailed us a pre-paid return shipping label for the incorrect case, mailed out the correct case, and issued a refund for the price difference. Overall, they were quite efficient with the exchange.

I have read very good things about the screen on this device. Many people also have said that, for the cost, this tablet is one of the best on the market currently.
