Guess who's coming back to town? If you just screamed out "SANTA!" like Buddy the Elf, you'd be right! Once again, Cabela's stores across the country are hosting the Jolly Old Elf right up until Christmas Eve. He does get a little busy that night, after all. So until then, you can go in, visit for a while and shop for presents!
Santa officially arrived at stores yesterday, and you can visit him every single day between now and Dec. 24. You might want to plan ahead and schedule a few hours for your trip to Santa's Wonderland, because they'll have TONS of activities for the kids – and there can sometimes be a long wait to see Santa himself.
Full event details and hours are available online, and there are two specific events you should probably know about. On Saturday, Nov. 30, Cabela's is kicking off the holiday season with special breakfasts with Santa and prize giveaways. And that entire weekend, Cabela's is encouraging customers to donate new toys in-store to receive a coupon for a FREE photo package! And trust me, those will be hot commodities.
If you want to see Santa while you're at Cabela's, make sure you visit the Bass Pass Ticket Depot as soon as you enter the store. There, pick up a Bass Pass that will list your allotted time slot to see the big man himself. These passes are limited, and they tend to go quickly each day, so I'd try to get there ASAP.
Once you have your Bass Pass and it's your turn, your kiddo can hop on Santa's lap for a FREE 4" x 6" photo. You can also purchase a Christmas card package for $7 instead of the usual $20 that includes eight prints. Other photo packages are available, but you're limited to three of these $7 ones per family until Nov. 26.
