6 Fun & Frugal Fall Projects To Dress Up Your Home

Need a way to dress up your home to match the season? Fall is the prettiest season, and your home should reflect this. You don't need to spend a ton of money or take up a lot of your time making your house looking festively fall. Besides buying mums and pumpkins, here are six ways you can dress up your home for fall.

I already told you to buy pumpkins, but they don't have to boring and typical. Check out these amazing decoupaged pumpkins from Funkytime. This might take a bit of work, but it is super cheap and the results are amazing (as you can see).

This fall craft is the cheapest one you could do. You simply need leaves (which are free!), wax paper and crayons! The kids could help  you with this very cute leaf garland, which would look great in front of a window. Dollar Store Crafts has all the details.

Your front door is the one spot that should always express the season. I love my Christmas wreath and my spring wreath, but don't have a fall wreath. Sometimes the ones in the store are mega-expensive and this one won't cost you very much at all, thanks to Design Dining & Diapers.

How about spelling it out that fall is here, because the cool weather and leaves falling weren't enough to say it. This fireplace banner is the perfect prelude to your Christmas garland. I'm not a sewer, but even I could put together this easy and inexpensive banner from Dream Book Design.

You might be thinking, "not another pumpkin craft", but this one is super cool and looks like something you'd get at Homesense. Madigan Made gilded the pumpkins with brass tacks. Now this seems like a ton of work, but you could make your kids do it as a punishment for something. I think I'd love to do it while watching television, it would totally relax me.

Shanty 2 Chic always makes my list of great ideas and this fall centrepiece is no exception. You could follow the instructions in making the box, or use your own, but you simply have to fill it with colourful gourds, some foliage and candles. Either way, theirs is gorgeous, so check it out.
