Prepping for a baby? The Mamas & Papas globe magic rocker is half off at Shop.ca right now. Instead of an eyebrow-raising price of $399.99, you can get it for just $199.53. Shipping is free as well.

I know that even a $200 price tag on a rocker can seem insane but I decided to blog it anyways because the discount is awesome and there is also the fact that Mamas & Papas is an incredibly renown and well-liked brand of baby products.

The prices on Mamas & Papas merchandise is known for being high but so is the quality threshold.

I have to admit that I was gifted a very basic chair for my baby and it has certainly done the job but I would most definitely have preferred this Mamas & Papas one because it looks absolutely comfortable. My baby has never fallen asleep in the chair we have but I'm sure she would have fallen asleep in a heartbeat in the magic rocker, especially since it's a rocker in the true sense of the word. With two modes, it can rock the baby back and forth or side to side.

Two words to describe these two modes: pure heaven! Well I can only assume so anyways!

Here are some more notable features:

  • Light show when MAGIC card is inserted
  • MP3 compatible
  • Safety harness is secure and padded
  • Removable cover & head hugger (machine washable)

This rocker also has a lock feature that allows it to be locked into a stationery position. I'm particularly curious about this aspect because now that my baby is crawling and on the verge of walking, it has been absolutely impossible to place her in the chair we have. Even though we clip her in, she finds a way to wiggle out of it and I'm always scared that the chair will tip over when I'm not looking but a stationery lock would certainly fix that problem!

The fact that it's MP3 compatible is also a great feature. Ours plays the same three songs over and over and over again... and let's just that after a couple of months of hearing the same melody, we stopped turning ours on altogether.

Keep in mind that the required three C batteries aren't included.
