I found an awesome deal over at Toys R Us Canada for anyone with a little one at home.  For a limited time only, you can get the Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Apptivity Storybook Reader on sale for just $9.98.

The Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Apptivity Storybook Reader is regularly priced at $27.99 but it is now on sale for just $9.98. It is geared for ages six months and up. The durable case holds the device behind a clear film to protect the screen. It has adorable animations and audio prompts that will encourage your baby to explore and unlock even more content. It also has an option for parents to block the home button, or make it accessible. I love this option because some toys will just go on and on and can get pretty annoying, with your kids pushing the same buttons over and over again.

I love that this toy is interactive and is the baby equivalent to an iPad or computer for an adult.  It will keep your baby or toddler entertained instead of breaking your expensive electronics! Something like this would make a great birthday gift or even Christmas present for any toddler.

I know from having two toddlers that Fisher-Price is an awesome brand.  I like them because they grow with your child and not only are they fun, they are also educational.

I wanted to do a bit of price comparison because even though something is on sale, it does not always make it the best deal. I found the same Laugh and Learn Apptivity Storybook Reader at Amazon Canada and it is on sale for $18.95. Actually, this was the only place I could find this toy online other than at Toys R Us.  Walmart, Sears and Mastermind Toys all did not have it (or were out of stock).

I suggest finding another item so that you can save on shipping.  Right now, you can get free shipping at Toys R Us for orders of $25 or more.
