Sony Entertainment Network: Holiday Games Sale up to 60% Off

11 December 2014

PSN

The Sony Entertainment Network is throwing a Holiday Games sale right now. We are in to the second week of the sale, with the deals changing each week. This week, save up to 60% on fun and fabulous games from the Sony PlayStation Store.

In the sale, you will find games for all sorts of devices. This week you can find games for the:

  • PS4
  • PS3
  • PS Vita

Some say 'full game' and some say 'PSN game', which means it is in the Playstation Network. I figured with how popular the new PS4 is this year; everyone will want to purchase games for it. Here are a few games on sale for the PS4.

Games on the PSN tend to be cheaper overall, and I think they provide excellent value for their purchase price. Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry has a 4/5 star ranking on the Sony Playstation store right now with over 3000 votes. That is pretty awesome and makes this game a solid choice for your library.

If you have not upgraded to the PS4 yet, there are still plenty of choices for the PS3. Many of the same titles are available across the platforms. However, games like Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate - Deluxe Edition are only on sale for the PS3. Originally $19.99, this game is discounted to $11.99.

My favourite game of the same is for a device I have never even laid hands on: the PS Vita. I just adore the art of Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars. I can tell by the solid 5/5 star rating that I must not be alone. I think 387 other people agree with me. Originally $39.99, the game is on sale for $23.99. This game makes me seriously want to buy a PS Vita - I wonder if I can get a good deal on one this Boxing Day.

Next week there will be a completely new set of games on sale to drool over. This is a great way to build up your new PS4 library or increase the libraries you already have for the PS3 or PS Vita.

I assume all prices are in USD.
