Minecraft Foam Swords & Pickaxe Only $16 Each @ Chapters Indigo

12 October 2015

Chapters Indigo has launched a 20% off all Minecraft toys sale! In this sale I found some great prices on the sought after Minecraft Foam Sword and Minecraft Foam Diamond Sword. Originally $19.95 each, these Minecraft swords are now on sale for $15.96 each.  Also, the Minecraft Foam Pickaxe is on sale from $19.95 down to $15.96 as well.

These are authentic officially licensed Minecraft collectibles from Thinkgeek that are a great price! They are perfect for playing out Minecraft scenarios and even dressing up as a Minecraft character for Halloween. Your costume is not complete without a sword or a pick axe! These large swords are made from sturdy EVA foam, to withstand more than 1562 uses. They are quite large as they measure 12" H × 0.75" W × 26.5" L. Your new sword is over two feet long!

These swords and the pick axe are really cool and safe for kids of nearly all ages. The EVA sword is soft enough that if one kid hits another kid, no injuries (except to their pride) will occur. One mother said:

My kids are 9, 6 and 5 years old and they love everything minecraft. This lets them to continue to role play after TV and game time is over.

I price compared these swords with other retailers to ensure that you are getting the best deal. Microsoft Canada sells the same swords for $19.99. At Toys R Us Canada, the diamond foam sword retails for $24.99. I found them at Amazon from plenty of knock-off sellers from China, but even the ones fulfilled by Amazon (better chance of authentic) retailed for $23.41 - $24.92. EVEN At the china sellers, you are going to pay $16.16 + $4 for the diamond sword and $17.31 for the regular sword. The pick-axe is $23.03 fulfilled by Amazon (not sold), $19.99 @ Microsoft Canada, and $24.99 @ Toys R Us Canada.

I highly recommend shopping the rest of the Minecraft sale as well. Save on plush, mini figures, torches, animal packs, and more. Receive free shipping on $25 or more.
