So this game is indeed an oldie, but very good. Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty is the first in a three part Starcraft 2 series. Not too long ago the second installment, Heart of the Swarm was released and Starcraft nerds rejoiced. But if you want to rejoice too, you need to get the original, Wings of Liberty.
Starcraft is like Mario and Final Fantasy in that it hasn't lost it's value. It doesn't matter how long a Mario or Final Fantasy game has been out, they will cost a lot. The reason is simple: they're awesome. SquareEnix is still selling the original Final Fantasy on mobile platforms for $15. Starcraft 2 has the same thing going on.
