RECALL: Old Dutch Brand Chips Due To Salmonella

Put that bag of chips down! If you're munching on Old Dutch brand Cheddar & Sour Cream Potato Chips right now - you'll want to stop. Old Dutch has issued a recall on this particular chip flavour due to a Salmonella contamination.

This is a Class 2 food recall and has taken place in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan. The Old Dutch Foots Ltd. brand Cheddar & Sour Cream Potato Chips possibly have a Salmonella contamination, so you will want to pack that bag up and return them to your retailer (or throw them out) before anyone potentially gets sick.

The UPC numbers included in this recall are 0 66343 17941 4 and 0 66343 16783 1 both with a Best Before date between August 10th and March 2nd.

So far there are no reported illnesses associated with this recall, and the chips are being pulled off the shelves as well.
