Victoria's Secret is Slowly Closing Stores

I went to the mall in search of a strapless bra over the weekend, only to discover that the Victoria's Secret store I usually shop at is closed. I was, thankfully, able to find what I needed at La Vie en Rose, and we might have to turn to them a little more often, as Victoria's Secret is slowly closing more locations across Canada.

Retail Insider reports that the lingerie brand is "quietly shutting down some of its stores in Canada," including locations in Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver and Ottawa – and it looks like others could be next.

It's no secret that Victoria's Secret is in trouble, after they cancelled their famous fashion show and have dealt with boycotts from shoppers looking for more inclusive labels and sizes. Around this time last year, we learned that VS planned to close 53 stores across North America, following a sharp decline in sales.

I might not personally love all their attitudes, especially toward body-image, but I'll admit that I still love Victoria's Secret bras. They're the most affordable bras I've found that actually fit me well and barely stretch out over time, so I'm happy to say that their website is still open for business and accepting orders.

Whether you shop in person or online, you have until March 9 at 11:59 PM PT to pick up select bras for buy one, get one 50% off! Lingerie is also 40% off, and they're running deals on panties and sleepwear, too. All prices online are posted in USD, and shipping to Canada is free if you spend at least $100.
