This may be a little ironic—but scary! The Doctor Playsets for kids sold at Dollar Tree locations in Canada have been recalled due to a choking hazard. The toy is labelled for kids ages 2 and up, but this set of stethoscope and other doctor's tools may be unsafe for your little one to play with.
The main worry issue here is that the ear buds on the stethoscope may come off, which poses a choking hazard to young children - especially those around the age of two. So far, neither Dollar Tree nor Health Canada have received any sort of report regarding an incident or injury related to this recall but they are being safe rather than sorry.
If you own one of these sets, you can take it away from your child and return it to your closest Dollar Tree location. There have been about 1,494 units sold within Canada between August 2015 and December 2015 - to give you a better idea if your doctor set is included in this recall or not.
