If you're a Plum Rewards member at Chapters Indigo, you may have seen something pretty exciting pop up in your inbox this week. Chapters just announced a new addition to their loyalty program family: a membership called Plum PLUS. It's basically an upgraded version of Plum Rewards – so sign me UP!
To join the Plum PLUS club, you'll have to sign up in-store. A list of the 55 participating stores in Alberta, British Columbia Manitoba and Ontario is available online – but we can tell you all the deets here.
Once you're a member, you'll save 10% on most in-store and online purchases, earn five Plum points for almost every dollar you spend and score free shipping on all web orders (excluding oversize items).
PLUS (get it?) if, like me, you're already a Plum Rewards member, you can transfer all your existing points over to a new Plum PLUS account if you sign up in-store. The PLUS subscription lasts for a year, and if you choose not to renew your membership, your points will be transferred back to a regular Plum Rewards account.
There is an annual membership fee, but Chapters doesn't actually specify what it is online. That makes me wonder if the charge could vary by province or even store location, but we'll have to wait and see. If you're an existing iRewards member, you can transfer your points over to a Plum PLUS account at no extra charge.
Oh, and things actually get even better. If you sign up before Sept. 15, 2019, Chapters will throw in a FREE $20 bonus card that you can spend at Chapters, Indigo, Coles or their online store.
So, to sign up at a Chapters store, you'll need to give your name and a valid email address (and then pay the annual membership fee). Sounds pretty easy, right?
