While many formal customs have gone by the wayside I still love the formal place setting. The set includes:

• 10 3/4" dinner plate
• 8" salad plate
• 6" bread & butter plate

I am disappointed that the five piece place setting does not come with the bowl but thinking back to the set I got for my wedding, we had to request the bowls separately. The set is made of Fine Bone China and it is dishwasher safe so no need to work up the ol' elbow grease. I enjoy the very modern look to this classic tradition. I requested a china set for my wedding and my relatives were very generous in giving me the one I wanted. I love using it for special occasions, it really brightens up the holidays.

This is a very good deal for a china set. I rarely see any china sets under $100 and most certainly not the five piece sets from brands like Vera Wang.
