I had this exact phone a few years ago and now have the larger model with four handsets. Even with my family of five, we don't really need four handsets. If you have some plug-in phones, have a smaller house, or are a smaller family, you can't lose with this portable phone set. I don't think you can buy a cheap plug-in phone for $11.
I price compared this set and found it for $40 at The Source, $49.92 at Staples and $54.97 at Walmart.
