Hudson's Bay: Hunter Original Clear Leg Boots Were $260| Now $109 & FS

Hudson's Bay Canada is offering up to 70% off in their clearance section currently. I stumbled across these Hunter Original Clear Leg Wellington Boots on sale from $260 down to $109.19.

The same boots are on sale at Hunter Boots Canada from $260 down to $155. I could not find them many other places, but when I did, they were full price or near full price.

Hudson's Bay has three colours included in the sale with many sizes still available:

  • Dark Red: 5, 7, 8, 9, 10
  • Midnight: 5, 9
  • Slate: 5, 7, 8, 10

These boots are rather different, aesthetically, from other Hunter tall boots. These Hunter wellies feature a clear vinyl leg detailed with a leather strap and trim. The boot's foot contrasts in matte rubber. These boots are for general wear, and are not designed for terrain that is more rugged.

Like all other tall Hunter wellies, these boots are waterproof and can endure the long wet winters of the BC coast or other parts of Canada. The boots look very stylish, and are a more modern take on the traditional wellie.

I think these boots are gorgeous, and rather appreciate the dark red (burgundy according to Hunter) and the midnight. I doubt these would be a good fit for wider calves, thus, I know I would not fit in them. PVC is not known for having a lot of stretch in it so the upper vinyl leg portion will not be generous to those with thicker calves.

The price though, is really quite generous. Hudson's Bay undercuts Hunter's price by just over $45. That is a large chunk of money staying in your pockets rather than being spent on awesome boots. Reinvest some of that money into Hunter Boot Shine and Rubber Buffer to keep boots in optimum condition. They will remove any blooming from your boots.

I am sure once people realize this deal exists, it will sell out quickly. I think our last Hunter tall boots deal was gone within a short couple of days.

Receive free shipping on these boots no matter what your payment method is as they are over $99.

I'm digging the red. They would sure be fun to splash in the puddles in!
