Imaginarium Safari Stacking Cubes Recalled Due to Choking Hazard

Stacking cubes are so much fun - unless they pose as a choking hazard! Toys R Us has set out a recall on their Imaginarium Safari Stacking Cubes. If you own these for your kiddos and are concerned with the recall, you should immediately take the toy away from the child and return it to your local Toys R Us store or a refund or store credit.

The Imaginarium Safari Stacking Cubes affected by this recall were sold from August 2014 to April 2016. The set comes with 19 pieces - 10 laminated cardboard cubes, and 9 wooden blocks that come in a variety of different shapes and sizes. The problem encountered is that the pieces of laminated paper can be torn off the cubes, which poses as a choking hazard for young children.

There were about 3,400 of these units sold in Canada. They were only sold at Toys R Us Canada and the ToysRUs.ca website.
