The rebate the banner talks about ended a few days ago, so unfortunately, you won't be able to participate in that part of the sale.
The stand mixer that is on sale is the 5.5 quart commercial-style mixer, with a wide stainless steel bowl. It has a 575 watt motor, which gives it the speed it needs, but the sturdy durable metal bowl with flanged lip makes sure those quick-moving ingredients don't splash you and your kitchen. The professional-style bowl lets you mix large quantities and heavy doughs. Was $599.99, now $329.99. You can get it in a wide variety of colours including cobalt blue, cinnamon, and many more. I did some research and found that this particular model of mixer is not available in Canada, but it is comparable to others that are available, and sell for $80 - $125 more. So, this might be a good deal if you are in the market for a new mixer and any other KitchenAid appliance.
The Architect 5qt stand mixer is a little less powerful, with a smaller bowl, but it seems to have the same features. It is actually more money, but doing some research, I found that the professional mixer above, might not be as great for day-to-day smaller quantities. It pays to do your research, and you might want to look into which mixer is best for you. There are also a number of colour choices available. Was $549.99, now $369.99.
