The hot deals care continuing in the Black Friday deals week from Amazon.ca, with a lot of new offers launched in the last few hours. We’re collating many on our Black Friday dashboard, but I want to do another roundup of some of the interesting offers. Here are my picks of the day:
The headliner deal on Amazon is the Friends complete boxset either on DVD for $54.99 (down from $208) or on Blu-Ray for $69.99 (down from $323). It’s a good price for either – I don’t recall having seen them any cheaper, and a quick price comparison confirms this. I used to own this boxset on DVD. I’d seen all the episodes on TV before of course, then I watched the DVD boxset once, the whole way through. Then I gifted it to my sister! It is a good show, but I couldn’t watch it ALL again. Catching the odd re-run on TV can be fun though.
Moms and dads to be who are looking for a new baby monitor could be interested in this Summer Infant Baby Touch 2 Digital Colour Video Monitor, down from $299.99 to $199.99. In price comparing, I can see this model seems to be $270+ at most other stores, including Well.ca and Babies R Us Canada. I actually have a video monitor for my little ones. It was very handy when I moved the toddler from the cot to the “big girl bed,” so we could keep an eye on her in case she was running round the room or falling out of bed.
For the crafty crafters amongst us, the Xyron XRN900 9-Inch Creative Station Multi Function Crafting System is down from $119.99 to only $47.49. I’ve actually never seen one of these before, so I had to read the description to see what it does. This machine makes stickers and magnets from photos, fabric, leather, ribbon, fancy papers and greeting cards. Nice! A Canadian price comparison tells me that you cannot buy it from many other online stores, and those few that I did find had it at a much higher price.
Check out the deal on this Pentax 12161 Q10 12MP Compact Interchangeable Lens Camera with Pentax-02 Standard Zoom Lens, down from $399.99 to $269. Can’t find it online anywhere else in Canada for less; it’s $400 @ Vistek, $400 @ LondonDrugs.
