The size is 'one size fits most' which means you may need to pin back the skirt a bit if your child is smaller. Now, I know that Halloween is in the middle of winter, so Hula outfits may not seem practical. However, you can always layer this set over skin-coloured top and bottoms to get the full affect. In addition, this could just be a really fun costume for regular dress-up. At $5, you really cannot go wrong.
I price compared this set mainly in the USA were I could find this exact costume. Beistle sells this costume for a bulk price (minimum 6) at $14.99 USD each. Amazon.com has the same set for $14.27 USD (approximately $18.81 CAN). Given the price for this set at our neighbours to the south, I think this is a pretty good find.
I loved playing dress up as a kid but I never had any specific costume or 'dress up' clothes. Rather, I raided my mother's wardrobe and re-purposed sheets in an attempt to act out my fantasies.
