I price compared this pack with other major online retailers where it costs: $49.97 @ Best Buy Canada, $39.96 @ Walmart Canada (OOS), and $34.99 @ Microsoft Store Canada. Essentially, Amazon's price is WAY cheaper than all the other companies where this is on sale.

So, what is this game? You can mix and match Skylanders powers with this new game. Mix and match their tops and bottoms and then put them on the new Portal of Power to help save Skylands. The starter pack includes everything you need to play including:

• one video game
• one portal of power
• three skylander figures
• one character collector poster
• three sticker sheets with secret codes
• three trading cards

For gamers already in the world of Skylanders, all Skylanders Spryo’s Adventure and Skylanders Giants Toys will work in the Skylanders SWAP Force Game.  Essentially, you can mix and match with what you already have. To me, this is the advantage if these types of games where you buy a starter pack and then can add on to your existing collection with characters and add-ons that work together. I have never tired these figurine games but they seem super popular especially among young gamers: children.
