DVDLink.ca Free DVD Rental Trial (2 Weeks!)

DVDLink.ca Free DVD Rental Trial (2 Weeks!)

Here’s a great deal for the movie lovers on Bargainmoose! DVD Link is a small Canadian online DVD rental company. In order to attract some new customers, they are offering a free 2 week DVD rental trial. During the trial, you get to have 2 movies at a time in your home.

You need to enter your credit card details in order to be eligible for the trial. But if you cancel within the 2 week time frame, you won’t be charged a cent. They only charge your credit card if you decide to continue the service after the 2 week free trial. If you do decide to keep renting DVDs, the monthly fees start at $9.95 for a basic package, but go right up to $54.95 for the platinum deal!

If you’ve never had an online DVD rental account before, I recommend you give it a try! You stick a load of movies and TV shows in your rental list, and the DVD rental company ships them out to your door. There are no shipping charges, and never any late fees for returning the DVDs. I find it a very easy process and I love getting new and interesting movies through my front door.

Depending on which company you are renting DVDs with, turnaround times may vary, between you posting a DVD back to them, and receiving the next one. What is the service like with DVDLink.ca? Have you used them? Please let me know in the comments below.

P.S. There are quite a few online DVD rental trials which you can sign up for, click the “DVD rental deals” tag below to see more great freebies, such as a free month of Zip.ca!

This company makes unauthorized charges on members credit cards. I would strongly suggest you remove your recommendation!

We have been getting these negative reviews from our rival (zip.ca)... I'd sincerely request Mark to contact us if he was legit member of DVDLink.ca and if EVER we charged unauthorized amount to his credit. Awaiting to hear back from mark Thanks M. Cadman

Sorry, guess I should have hit the reply button, but failed to do so. My reply to you is in a new thread below.

Hi Mark, You bet I did. 3 times as a matter fact, no matter how many times both myself or Visa contacted you. Finally Visa marked your transactions as fraudelent in order to prevent them from charging through any further. It was a real hassle for myself, and terrible customer service, all because I never received a disc that was never shipped to me. I ended up paying for 2 months of service, during which I never received a single disc, and it would have been 4 if it hadn't been for Visa (thanks Visa!). I did everything I could given the means available to contact your support, and try and get this resolved, but it all fell on 'deaf ears'. Hopefully you now have these sort of issues fixed, and no longer cause customers like myself to leave. My kids still wish the discs came in the mail. Best regards, Mark

Horrible customer service (namely none), they will freeze your account if you report that a disc is late (claiming you reported it lost), and will not ship anything to you until that disc has been returned to them (in my case, it didn't arrive for a week, so 2 weeks out of one month NOTHING was shipped to me). They ship only the bottom of your queue even though top of the queue movies are listed as being available. Now they're claiming they didn't receive a movie back from me that I sent back almost a month ago when I cancelled my account. And the onus is on ME because they choose to only stamp their envelopes instead of putting a tracking number on them like most rental companies??? Complaints go unanswered unless it might mean money out of their pocket. Beware! They have 15 BBB complaints, and haven't even responded to 12 of them. I highly recommend you remove your recommendation to this company unless you'd like the bargainmoose blog to become as unreputable as this company is. The 2 week free trial is nothing if they're going to try to rip off every potential customer they have, and likely those who only choose the free trial will find that oddly enough THEIR movies didn't make it back either since this seems to be a common problem. I'm working with VISA centre now to ensure this rip off company doesn't get another cent from me.

Another happy DVDlink customer ;-) VISA will chargeback the "stolen" DVDLink charges thankfully, I at least got my one month returned.
