Canadian Freebies: Free 30 or 90 Day Subscription To The National Post

Canadian Freebies: Free 30 or 90 Day Subscription To The National Post

NationalPost

Found this deal for anyone who likes to read the news more the old fashioned way: A free subscription to the National Post for 90 days!

Here is the fine print:

The National Post print edition is applicable to only where National Post home delivery is available. This offer cannot be combined with any other offer. Subscription is offered to readers who have not had National Post delivery in the past 45 days. Offer expires August 31, 2010.

I have NOT tested the above freebie, because I found the following freebie first and tested it out before finding the one above. I found a free 30 day subscription of the National Post and it is what I tested. So if you are not sure you want a full 90 days, you might want to check out this offer instead:

As for it's fine print, almost the same but a few more details:

Delivery is Monday to Saturday. The National Post print edition is applicable only where National Post home delivery is available. National Post digital edition will be supplied in all other areas. Offer is limited to readers who have not had home delivery in the past 45 days. One complimentary subscription per household. Offer valid until July 31, 2010.

They said my delivery would start in about 5 days.

When I put in my postal code I get the subscription offer of only 30 days and not the 90 days as listed above. What's up with that? Dale.

Question: are you clicking on the first link for the 90 day offer? I just clicked on that link, input my postal code and it is offering me the 90 day free subscription... so I am not sure what is happening on your end. When I see Anna next I'll ask her to test it out too! Is anyone else having trouble with getting this freebie?

I tried this a few months ago. My subscription never came

Hey, you might want to give it another go! I don't always put much faith in freebies, but today the National Post arrived on my doorstep. So, it worked!

I tried it again and found out the problem I was having. When I put in my postal code I only got the 30 day digital offer and not the 90 day offer. Turns out I can't get the printed version here and thus the 90 day offer doesn't apply and I can only receive the 30 day digital version. Found out by using the Ottawa Senators postal code and that cleared it up. Dale
