You know what blenders are great for? Blender drinks! And smoothies I guess. I do make smoothies often, and actually it is a ritual that my two year old and I have. After the gym, I make a smoothie with the works - greens, yogurt, coconut water, chia and flax seeds, protein powder and frozen berries. He drinks it like it is the best treat ever and often ends up with a smoothie mustache, which is pretty cute. But, now that summer is here, blender drinks are also pretty good. I can make the kids non-alcoholic ones. My blender is probably from 1970, so it is on its last legs, and this one from Walmart is too good of a deal to pass up.
For easy blending, pouring and cleaning, the 48 oz. heat resistant glass jar will blend hot and cold foods and liquids with ease. There are two speeds with 700 watts of peak power.
