Urban Outfitters (US): Free Shipping for Urban ON Members
Urban Outfitters is offering free shipping to Canada for Urban ON Insiders. Urban On is Urban Outfitter's loyalty program that you can join online.
It is free to join the Urban ON club online, and only requires a few details. Shipping at Urban Outfitters usually costs $10 on orders up to $49.99 and is free on orders of $50 or more. As an Urban On member, you will earn rewards, get first dibs on new collections, get sale alerts, and more. While I was writing this post up, I saw a message on their recent activity that said:
youngnsharp shopped 3 ways at UO and got a $10 reward #UrbanOutfitters #UrbanOn
It sounds like you can earn monetary rewards, which is very cool.
While you may not think this deal is that great, it really is a fantastic little offer for Canadians. You see, anything we buy internationally that costs over $20 (and is not made in Canada or the USA), can incur duties. Urban Outfitter’s free shipping minimum is high enough that any shipment to Canada would be at risk of duties. However, Urban ON members will receive free shipping on any order. That means you can buy awesome sale items for $20 or less and not worry about extra fees.
Now here we are at the sale section. As an Urban ON member, you now have free shipping on whatever you please. Pick up this Vision Street Wear Mod Tank Top for just $9.99, originally $39. You are saving nearly 75% and will get your new tee delivered right to your door.
There are some really cute items that are only available online that make it worth shopping at Urban Outfitters. This Pins And Needles Daisy Chain Sweaterknit Cami is super adorable! Originally $49, the top is on sale for just $19.99 in sizes XS through large. You will not find this in your local stores.
Oh, and as a sad side note, Urban Outfitters does not ship to Quebec. I have no idea why, but they do ship to the rest of the provinces and territories. All prices are in USD and if you purchase items worth $20+ then you may be subject to duties/taxes when your package crosses the border. I have not shopped at Urban Outfitters before so I do not know if it is common or rare for Canadians to be hit with duty as their packages cross the border.
