I found a fantastic little sale on Cuisinart serving utensils at Newegg Canada. These utensils like slotted spoons, ladles, and more are up to 70% off their original price! All of these cooking utensils are under $5 each with free shipping as long as they are in stock.
Let us start with the cheapest piece: this Cuisinart CTG-07-SSC Solid Spoon was $11.99 and is now $3.99 with free shipping. I price compared with a few other shops and found the same spoon for $7.99 + shipping @ Best Buy Canada and for $19.99 @ Shop.ca. Seriously, you cannot get this spoon for any cheaper than $4 with no shipping charges. For a slightly different design, the Cuisinart CTG-04-SSC Solid Spoon, Barrel Design (Black) is also on sale from $11.99 down to $4.99. I like the curve of this design.
Next, the Cuisinart CTG-05-LSC Slotted Spoon, Attrezzo Collection (Grey) was $12.99 and is now $4.99. This comes from a slightly different collection that I like better. I don't have a slotted spoon right now, so this may end up in my cart. The Cuisinart CTG-04-LSC Slotted Spoon has a different design than the slotted spoon above. Yet, it was $15.99 and is also on sale for $4.99. This one also matches the second regular spoon above. While this one was originally more expensive, I like the other design better.
Personally, I will probably end up with the Cuisinart CTG-05-PSC Pasta Server, Attrezzo Collection (Grey) that matches the slotted spoon above. I do not own a pasta server and it really annoys me when my pasta sticks together. I like these serving spoons because they also make serving noodles, like spaghetti, easier. Originally $12.99, this utensil is now on sale for $4.99.
Lastly, one cannot forget the ladle! I have a really old ladle that could use replacing as it has been with us for probably ten years. The Cuisinart CTG-05-LDC Ladle, Attrezzo Collection (Grey) matches the pasta server and one of the slotted spoons. Originally $12.99, it is now on sale for $4.99.
