With the cooler weather approaching, I found a hot deal on a girl's Columbia jacket that is marked to clear at $49.88. Add the coupon code and the price comes down to $44.89. For some reason, Sportchek doesn't list the regular price, but if you know Columbia, you know that these types of jackets sell for about $90 and up. On top of the price cuts, Sportchek also has free shipping with no minimum on right now.
This Columbia jacket will keep your little one warm and dry through the cooler months of Fall and Spring and probably into Winter. It does say it is insulated for warmth, but I'm thinking it might not be warm enough for Canadian winters as it doesn't have a temperature rating listed. But, it does say it has adjustable cuffs and an attached adjustable storm hood, so you might be in luck to wear this year-round (besides summer ;)).
I like how shiny this coat is, with a cute embossed pattern that lets her have some style while she is waiting for the school bus in six feet of snow. It also has reflective details so people will see her when she wears it over her costume this Halloween because it is raining and -1 degrees. All of you parents know exactly what I mean, don't you?
I couldn't find this jacket selling in Canada, but did find it on Amazon.com, where it had limited sizing and sold for $50 USD.
Take a look at Columbia Sportswear, where insulated girl's jackets sell for at least $89.99 and go up from there. The only jackets with a price as low are just fleece sweaters.
