The Xbox 360 2013 holiday bundle is $50 off at Costco but just wait until you hear about everything that it comes with! Originally priced at $329.99, it's now on sale for just $279.99.

Now, let me start off by mentioning that if you're only looking to buy the console by itself, then Walmart is currently offering a $129 deal on the 4GB Xbox 360 and it also comes with a bonus $50 Walmart gift card, but, and I can't stress this enough, it's only 4GB.

If you're looking to get an Xbox 360 with more storage, an extra remote, games, an Xbox LIVE subscription and more, then Costco's deal is better by a long shot as for just $280, it comes with all of the following:

  • Xbox 360 console with 250GB
  • 2 black wireless remote controllers
  • 3 games: Halo 4, Tomb Raider & Forzia Horizon
  • 1-year subscription to Xbox LIVE Gold + 30 extra days
  • Play & charge kit
  • Battery pack

While you were receive an actual physical copy of Halo 4, the other two games, Tomb Raider and Forza Horizon come in the form of digital downloads, which means that you will more than likely be given unique codes to enter online. Since this Xbox 360 also comes with built-in wi-fi, you will be able to seamlessly subscribe to Xbox LIVE.

Although most Xbox 360 consoles automatically come with a 30-day suscription to Xbox LIVE, the fact that Costco's deal comes with a full year on top of the usual free month is pretty awesome as an Xbox LIVE memberships has a number of awesome perks like: access to free games, special member discounts from 50% all the way to 75% off select games, etc. Plus, you can even video chat and play games online with friends and family.

Just to give you an idea, I tallied up how much all of these would cost individually if you were to take advantage of Walmart's current deal with the free $50 gift card. This is what I came up with: $129 console + $70 remote+ $40 Halo 4 + $20 Tomb Raider = $260. For the rest, I had to look on Amazon as Walmart didn't have it: $30 Forza Horizon + $50 Xbox LIVE membership = $80. In total, all of these come up to $340, which is actually more expensive than Costco's original retail price!

In fact, the Microsoft Store is selling a smaller version of this bundle for more expensive as well. At $300, their Xbox 360 holiday bundle comes with: 250GB Xbox 360 console, 1 wireless remote, Halo 4, Tomb Raider and 1 month of Xbox Live Gold.

Costco also offers free shipping.
