Costco.ca: Canada Golf Card Just $40 (Up To 50% Off Greens!)
Golfing season is nearly upon us and it may even have started for some of you Moosers, so here's a nifty little special that you're going to want to take advantage of if you're an avid golfer or know someone who is: at Costco, you can get the Canada golf card for just $39.99. Shipping is always free at Costco as well.
At their official site, the Canada golf card is actually priced at $49.95, so in all actuality, Costco's price is $10 less or more precisely, it's a 20% price reduction. For anyone who golfs regularly, a one-time season fee of $40 is sure to yield a whole lot more savings in the long-term.
Plus, this card is good for until the end of the year. Of course, the cold and snow will eventually get in the way of that but it's cool that there is no set date towards the end of summer or even fall, especially since different golf courses close at varying dates.
I have to admit that I had never heard of the Canada golf card before spotting it at Costco but the fact that it features the following perks definitely sounds like it's more than worth it:
- Up to 50% off over 500 golf courses in Canada
- 2,500+ saving coupons
- Works on certain courses in the USA (incl. Washington & Arizona)
- Select discount at driving ranges & golf academies
What's interesting is that next to the part where it says that this card may be used at over 500 golf courses, there is also a mention of: "now featuring Ontario golf courses!!" with two explanation points like that, which makes me thing that this is perhaps a newly added feature. Another cool part about the card is that you can use as many as four coupons per golf course!
If you have a smart phone, then you can also get the Canada Golf Card app on either iTunes or Google Play Store. This way, you won't need to carry your card or coupon book around with you and will be able to easily see all of the discounts and features available directly from the comfort of your own hand. ;)
