65% Off Playmobil Carrying Case Firemen Set Was $13 | Now $4.50 @ Chapters

8 September 2015

Check out this deal for 65% off a Playmobil City Action Carrying Case - Firemen set from Chapters Indigo. The set was $12.95 and is now on sale for just $4.50 with free shipping no minimum.

This fun little set comes with 34 pieces including two firemen figures, a fire hose, an axe, and other accessories. All the pieces can be stored in the included carry case for easy clean up at home or portability when playing out at the park, in the car, or at a friend's house.

The set is designed for ages four and up as it has a lot of small pieces. This set makes an excellent gift to children of the appropriate age who may have a small obsession with Firefighters or with Playmobil toys. The figures are of the standard size of Playmobil figures, thus they should easily mix and match with other Playmobil figures.

I found the same set on Amazon.com for $19.99. At Amazon.ca, secondary sellers are already reselling it for $25 plus extra for shipping. While I could not find this set at Walmart Canada, the Police version had been on sale for $9 there and is now sold out. Essentially, this is a great price and a hard to find toy these days unless you want to pay the mark up from resellers. Other sets in the Carrying Case series retail for $14.99 at Amazon Canada right now and I found one at Walmart for $12.95.

Given my price comparison and how darling this toy is, I could not help but post about it. Chapters Indigo Canada's free shipping offer really makes this deal even better. You can simply buy a $4.50 toy and not have to worry about extra shipping charges. You will also earn Plum Rewards on all online purchases now, including this toy.

This little set might make a great Christmas gift and at this price, it might make for a very thrifty Christmas too. :) For those of us Moosers who are on a tight budget this fall, we should take advantage of deals like this.
