It's only October, but I think it's safe to say this year's top toys have one major thing in common: a lot of them are really gross.
There are already games out there centred around pimple-popping and poop-dodging, and now there's one about ... diaper sniffing?
What's That Smell is a party game where you try to guess different scents. Think of it a little like scratch-and-sniff stickers – but there are definitely a few stinkers in the mix.
It's known as "the party game that stinks" because, well, it does. The game comes with 48 Mystery Whiff cards. Guess the scent on 'em to win! If you don't answer correctly (and come in last place), you'll have to take a deep breath and face the stinky consequences of the Whiff of Shame: one of four horribly scented cards (Extra Old Toe Cheese, Diaper Blowout, Hot Chunky Vomit or Smothered in B.O.).
There's a free app you can download with the game to earn bonus points, keep track of the time and capture a lasting image of the loser's face as they sniff the Whiff of Shame.
In Canada, this game is available through Amazon.ca or at Walmart for $24.93. You can also pick it up for a few cents more at Chapters Indigo (where it's $24.95) or for $24.99 at Toys R Us.
