It seems like there's a "day" for just about everything from pizza to promposals – but this is easily one of my favourites. National Coffee Day is back this Tuesday, Oct. 1, and (of course) Tim Hortons is getting in on the action. They're actually celebrating a little early, and kicking off the party this weekend.
For two days only, they're giving away FREE coffee! All you have to do is order through the mobile app, and you can receive one free Tims Rewards item per day. So if you don't have the app, hit that download button!
"With over two billion cups of coffee sold every year and with 80 per cent of all Canadians visiting a Tim Hortons restaurant every month, we wanted to reward our loyal guests with something special on National Coffee Day," Mike Hancock, Tim Hortons' chief operating officer stated in a news release about the promotion.
You'll have to sign up for Tims Rewards to score these freebies, but it's actually worth your while anyway, especially if you usually swing by the Tims drive-thru on your way to work. If you're a Tims Rewards member, you'll receive a FREE coffee, tea or baked good after seven eligible purchases.
