After I told my kids about the blanket mentioned here, they couldn't help but tell me how much colder their rooms are than ours is. It turns out they're right. We measured the room temps!

It appears that this higher priced model that I mentioned earlier is called 'microplush' and is 'grey', compared to the lower priced ones here, called 'velvet plush' that are available in 4 different colours - beige, light blue, light sand and walnut.
The control features appear to be the same though. Both models even have the sheet preheat setting for toasty warmth and 5 heat settings with an auto-shutoff feature.
